10 Music LTD., 1989. Softcover. Unpaginated, circa 25 pages and double page like a poster. 31,5 x 23,5 cm. Text in English. Used. VG · Cover is G+, shows minor signs of wear and little pen mark on cover. Inside is VG+.This record, as well as its six long tracks, was the favorite moment in pop for many people. A hopeful record with songs - and music videos, why not?- which has entered history.Introspective was released on October 1988. So-called because “all the songs, although it's a dance album, are introspective”. The title was chosen after Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe considering and dismissing “f”, “Dogmatic”, “Bounce” and “Hello!”. We are not big on synthpop ;) but this brilliant cover has always fascinated us. The idea for the coloured stripes belongs to designer Mark Farrow, the order of the stripe colors varies depending on the format of the record, CD, cassette or LP.This songbook was designed by Farrow and was followed closely by Pet Shop Boys. It has amazing photographs, known images and others less so, as well as the score and lyrics of: "Left to my own device", "I want a dog", "Domino Dancing", "I'm not scared", "Always on my mind/in my house" and "It's alright".
